We are leading the industry with our commissioning expertise and excellence, and we are proud to announce that our innovative Work Experience Programme has received the prestigious Golden Apple Award in association with the University of Cumbria. This recognition is a testament to our ongoing commitment to providing students with valuable learning experiences and fostering the next generation of talent in the nuclear commissioning sector.
The University of Cumbria, a renowned institution dedicated to promoting excellence in education and fostering strong partnerships with industry leaders, presented us with the award on the 12th October 2023, during their annual awards ceremony. This acknowledgment highlights our dedication to supporting education and workforce development in our community.
MissionCX and Energy Coast UTC’s Work Experience Programme is designed to provide students at Energy Coast UTC with an immersive and hands-on experience in the nuclear commissioning industry. Over the years, our programme has provided opportunities for students to gain real-world insights into industry-related tasks, projects, and technologies. The programme incorporates a range of activities, including engineering, problem solving, business skills, operations and innovation, enabling students to develop essential skills and explore potential career paths in the industry.
