We are sponsoring Tom’s Base Camp Challenge for the Born Free Foundation because at MissionCX we believe it’s important to protect endangered animals.

The born free foundation works worldwide to ensure all wild animals are respected. The foundation works tirelessly to ensure all wild animals, whether living in captivity or in the wild, are treated with compassion and respect – working across the world to preserve, protect and rescue wild animals in need. Help us take action and Keep Wildlife in the Wild by sponsoring Tom on his base camp challenge to raise funds for the Born Free Foundation.

A bit about Tom – in 2017, at the tender age of 8, Tom undertook the first of his amazing personal challenges, completing the Hadrian’s Wall walk in just four days, supported by his father. Two years later (2019), Tom set off on his second challenge and completed the three national peaks in as many days.

Both challenges saw Tom raise a total of £2000 for the Born Free Foundation, who work across the world to preserve, protect and rescue wild animals in need – finding Compassionate Conservation solutions so that humans and wildlife can co-exist peacefully.

At 13 years old, in 2022 Tom pushed himself even further seeing him attempt his third challenge, Everest Base Camp, which had originally been scheduled to take place in 2021, having been delayed due to the COVID pandemic.  The hike to Everest Base Camp is 5400m (17,598ft) and is expected to take Ben 12 days. This is the biggest challenge he has attempted to date, and we are proud to sponsor him and wish him well on his big Everest Challenge.

Any support you can offer Tom to help the Born Free Foundation Keep Wildlife in the Wild is hugely appreciated.
