When Ben’s old rugby club, Walney Central, put out a call for sponsors, MissionCX answered.
We will be proud sponsors of the Walney Central Amateur Rugby League open age team for the upcoming season. To say we’re excited would be an understatement. This is what the hard work has all been for; supporting grassroots rugby and nurturing up and coming talent. Having been a keen Walney Central player from the age of seven, Ben can now see his childhood team progress and grow. The new red, blue and white kit bearing our logo looks great!
Rugby is more than scrums and muddy boots.
Sport plays a huge role in our communities, nurturing talent, cultivating team mentality and shaping positive behavioural traits that are invaluable life skills. Here at Missioncx, we recognise how crucial it is for young people to engage in regular activity; it’s not only critical for their physical fitness but it’s excellent for maintaining mental wellbeing. With the right training and guidance, youngsters will learn from their older peers and develop skills and coping strategies that will see them through to adulthood and beyond. And most importantly, they’ll have fun in the fresh air.
Those that run and support these clubs deserve a huge pat on the back for all that they do. Ben will be forever grateful for the support he had from Walney Central as a youngster and is honoured that Missioncx can play a role in the club’s future success.
Sponsoring Walney Central is only a small part of Missioncx’s overall objective to support charitable and community initiatives, so watch this space for future schemes.
