🎉 One Year of Keisha at MissionCX – Celebrating a Rising Star

At MissionCX, we believe that success isn’t just measured by the projects we deliver — it’s measured by the people who power them. And this week, we’re celebrating one of our own: Keisha Stephenson, who has just hit her 1-year anniversary with us. Keisha joined MissionCX as a Resourcer, supporting our recruitment and delivery teams to find the right people for the right projects across the UK and Europe. From the start, she’s brought professionalism, warmth, and a down-to-earth energy that’s made her a natural fit for the MissionCX culture. As part of our development journey, Keisha also took on a cross-functional support role within our commercial team, gaining valuable insight into how different areas of the business operate and collaborate. It’s a great example of the learning opportunities we offer through the MissionCX People Programme™, helping team members build confidence, broaden their skillsets, and see the bigger picture.

Over the past year, she’s completed her NVQ Level 3 in Business Administration and is now studying for her APM Project Fundamentals Qualification. Her commitment to personal growth is inspiring and commendable. Keisha is also playing a key role in delivering our upcoming Work Insights Week (WIN Week), 7–11 July 2025, part of our wider MissionCX Pathfinder Programme™. She’s doing a fantastic job liaising with industry partners and helping to organise our Careers Exhibition Day, ensuring students gain an impactful, real-world introduction to commissioning, operations, and life in the nuclear, energy, and defence sectors. And she’s not just supporting the next generation — she’s giving back, too. Keisha is part of the MissionCX team taking on the Lake District Mighty Hike this June in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support, and has already raised £265 with her usual mix of commitment and good humour.

💬 Get to Know Keisha – Our Q&A

🎓 What’s something you’re proud of this year?
Definitely completing my NVQ Level 3 in Business Administration. It took a lot of effort, and I’m really proud to have finished it successfully.

📓 What are you working on now?
I’m currently studying towards the APM Project Fundamentals Qualification in my own time — I wanted to keep up the momentum and keep challenging myself.

🧠 You had a stint in commercial recently — what was that like?
It was a brilliant learning opportunity! It gave me a wider understanding of the business and helped me see how all the different teams fit together.

🪿 You’re doing the Mighty Hike — what’s been your highlight so far?
Raising £265 already and just getting stuck into the team spirit. Everyone’s been so supportive and it’s a great cause.

🌟 What’s the best thing about being part of MissionCX?
The people — 100%! The team is so welcoming and helpful, and there’s always someone to support you or cheer you on.

Baby Pink, so much to the point that all of my notes are taken in pink pen 😊

📍 Dream holiday destination?
I’d love to go to the Maldives one day, but I feel very unoriginal saying this though

🎥 Most rewatched film?
10 Things I hate about you, I must’ve seen it 100 times but it never gets old

🍰 Secret skill?
I can click my fingers using only my pointer finger and my thumb,  I don’t know anyone else that can do this and I had no idea it wasn’t normal
