At MissionCX, we believe in supporting our community and contributing to initiatives that make a real difference. That’s why we’re thrilled to support Eat Street Cumbria, a fantastic new event organized by Lakeland Life C.I.C, by donating a £50 Beauty in the Barn voucher to their raffle. This event not only showcases local food businesses but also supports two incredible charities: Andy’s Man Club and West Cumbria Search and Rescue.
A Platform for Local Business Growth
Eat Street Cumbria, launching on 16th November at Whitehaven’s Old Bus Shelter site, is more than just a food event. It’s a platform for local food vendors and aspiring entrepreneurs to test their concepts, connect with new audiences, and grow their businesses in a low-risk environment. By providing a supportive space for local eateries, this event champions the creativity and passion that make Cumbria’s food scene so vibrant.
Supporting Local Heroes
In addition to boosting local businesses, the event is making a meaningful impact by raising funds for two vital charities:
- Andy’s Man Club: A UK-wide charitable organization offering peer-to-peer support groups to improve mental health in men. Their work is a lifeline for those navigating mental health challenges, and their presence in the community is invaluable.
- West Cumbria Search and Rescue: A volunteer-driven organization providing life-saving search and rescue services. Their tireless efforts ensure that individuals in need are brought home safely, often going unnoticed but never unappreciated.
Why We Support This Initiative
At MissionCX, we understand the importance of both fostering local talent and giving back to those who work tirelessly to support our community. Supporting Eat Street Cumbria aligns with our values of innovation, collaboration, and community engagement. By donating a £50 Beauty in the Barn voucher, we hope to add value to this debut event and encourage others to contribute.
