🎉 Celebrating Victoria De la Rosa’s Success! 🎉

CRS_0403

We’re thrilled to announce that Victoria De la Rosa has been promoted from Resource Lead to Resource Manager at MissionCX! This well-deserved recognition comes alongside her recent achievement of a REC qualification. For those not familiar with REC – a REC qualification refers to certification provided by the Recruitment and Employment Confederation (REC). This qualification is highly regarded in the recruitment and staffing industry. It demonstrates a professional’s knowledge of recruitment best practices, legal compliance, and ethical standards. REC qualifications are designed to ensure that recruitment professionals operate at the highest standards and are fully equipped to deliver exceptional service to clients and candidates. Well done Vic!

Victoria is an invaluable member of the Operations team, managing a team of 3 – Keisha Stephenson, Shelby Hawkins, and Anne Tomlinson who collectively ensure we have the best commissioning teams working on our projects across the UK and Europe.

Her impressive skillset includes speaking five languages: French, Spanish, Croatian, English, and Italian! On top of that, she has recently completed a home renovation project (no small feat!) and loves nothing more than walking not only her own adorable dog, Tito, but has a dog walking business as a side hustle to her role at MissionCX! Family is a big part of Victoria’s life, and she makes it a priority to visit her loved ones in Croatia as much as she can.

To get to know Victoria a bit more.👇 Here are some quick questions:

1️⃣ What’s the most rewarding part of your role as Resource Manager? The best part of being a Resource Manager is seeing my team members achieve their goals with my support and encouragement. It’s so fulfilling to help them reach their full potential and watch them grow and succeed. Plus, when we come together as a team to solve problems and overcome challenges, it feels like a shared victory. Knowing that my efforts contribute to both individual and team accomplishments make my role incredibly rewarding.

2️⃣ If you could add a sixth language to your repertoire, what would it be? Probably German I started it couple years ago so wouldn’t mind doing it again.

3️⃣ What’s Tito’s quirkiest habit? If you say bonjour to him he can wave back 🤣 (taught him the trick)

4️⃣ What’s your favourite part of Croatia? Istria has a big place in my heart and second favourite Zagreb
5️⃣ What’s been the biggest challenge in building and managing a successful resource team? One of the biggest challenges in building and managing a successful resource team is making sure everyone communicates and collaborates effectively. It’s not just about having clear and open communication channels, but also about creating a culture where everyone trusts and respects each other. Another big challenge is managing the different skills within the team and making sure everyone is working to their strengths. This means really understanding what each person is good at and finding the right tasks for them.
6️⃣ If you could give one piece of advice to someone starting in commissioning, what would it be? Focus on building a strong foundation of technical knowledge and practical experience. Take every opportunity to learn from experienced colleagues, participate in hands-on projects, and familiarise yourself with industry standards and best practices. This will not only help you develop the skills you need but also build your confidence and credibility in the field.
7️⃣ What’s your dream travel destination (apart from Croatia!)? New Zealand, absolutely dying to go there!
8️⃣ How do you balance your busy work schedule with personal projects like renovating your house? Balancing work and personal projects like renovating a house can be tough, but it’s possible with some planning. Set clear priorities, create a schedule, delegate tasks, stay organised, take breaks. By doing this, you can manage both successfully.

Congratulations again, Victoria! Your dedication and talent inspire us all. Here’s to more success in your journey with MissionCX! 🚀
