It already feels like Kath has been with us for ages but it’s never too late for a formal welcoming to the MissionCX family. We are excited to announce that Kath Horrocks joined MissionCX as Finance Support on our busy commercial team. Kath’s arrival marks a significant milestone in our continued growth, as our team has nearly doubled in size over the past few months—a true testament to our ongoing success and dedication to commissioning excellence.

Kath brings a wealth of experience and a robust skill set to MissionCX. With a background in finance spanning over several years, she has demonstrated her ability to manage complex financial operations efficiently. Kathleen’s expertise will ensure that our commissioning teams are well-supported and that all payments are processed promptly, allowing our projects to run smoothly and our clients to remain satisfied.
Professional Background and Qualifications
Kathleen’s professional journey is marked by her commitment to excellence and continuous improvement. She holds an AAT Level 4 qualification and is currently completing her ILM Level 5 Certificate in Leadership and Management, expected in September 2024. Her previous roles as a Finance Officer and Finance Administrator at Lakes College West Cumbria have equipped her with comprehensive knowledge in managing finance and commercials.

At MissionCX, Kath will be working alongside a dedicated team of finance professionals, including Rachel Walker, Danielle Preston, Deb Todd, and Nicola Harrison. Together, under the leadership of our Business Manager Rachel, they form a dynamic and efficient unit that plays a crucial role in our operations. The expansion of our finance team reflects our commitment to supporting our growing commissioning teams and ensuring the financial health of our projects.
Beyond the Office
Kathleen is not only a skilled finance professional but also a person with diverse interests and a strong sense of community. She enjoys cooking, reading romance novels and biographies, and spending quality time with her family and friends. An avid walker, Kath is a proud member of the Workington Rambling Club, where she serves as Treasurer, and she also practices yoga regularly. Her balanced approach to work and life, coupled with her good sense of humour and ability to see things from others’ perspectives, makes her a delightful addition to our team.
